Beauty: Nip+Fab Glycolic Fix Extreme Pads 80ml Review

Anything with glycolic wrote on, well am all over. Glycolic acid is an exfoliator that sheds the outer layer of dead skin cells, helping bring the new skin to the surface.

Its such a good all rounder, helping with anti-ageing, sun spots and acne.

nip+fab glycolic fix pads review

For me initially, I would have liked to have seen a higher level of glycolic acid in the Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Extreme Pads they have around 5%, but on closer inspection I found that the pads have a number of other acids that are great for the skin. Saylic acid helps unclog pores, helping to combat blackheads and reduce blemishes. They also contain lactic acid, that removes dead skin cells and toxins from the skin, for a smoother and more even toned surface and holy smokes it don't stop there, finally a dose of hyaluronic acid that improves skin hydration, helping to keep skin feeling soft and plump.

So a lot going on huh?

I have been using the pads 3 times a week as recommend, for 2 weeks now. They are not as harsh, or as drying as other products I have used with glycolic acid in.They are damp wet circular pads, housed in a sturdy plastic container with a screw lid. Initially when swiped over the face they feel very wet, cooling and refreshing. They absorb quick, with a light really beautiful grapefruit scent.

The main element of improvement I can see over the two week period, is my skin doesn't appear, or feel as dry, which helps combat dullness - which is much welcomed in this cold weather. But my favourite element so far is the appearance of any spot scars around my chin, and cheek area has reduced over this 2 week period. I am going to continue to use, as I really love what these little pads are bringing to the table.

So if you are looking to give your skin a little boost in terms of reducing any blemish scaring or dullness then I would recommend. They are so affordable, have 60 pads in each container, and are sold in Boots & Superdrug.

Have you ever tried these, or any other products from Nip+Fab?

  1. I bloody love these pads, and the original ones! I've tried the Pixi Glow Tonic but I didn't think it was impressive at all, but these pads bloody rock! Have you tried the Superdrug Glycolic products? They're so cheap but sooooo good xxx
