The Ordinary Primer's Review.

The Abnormal Beauty Company is one of my favourite finds of the past 18 months.

There are so many of brands under The Abnormal Beauty Company umbrella and they are as follows: Hylamide, Niod, The Chemistry Brand, The Ordinary, Stemm, Fountain, Hair is Fabric and many more.

I have tried two primers, one from Hylamide (review here ) and one from Niod.
Both I totally loved.

When I was sent the two primers below to try, I had very high hopes.

*The Ordinary Adherence Silicone Primer

Priced at a bargain £3.90 the primer claims to act as a matte, hydrating, blurring primer for make-up and claims to adhere make-up for longer, and it to appear high-definition.

I can't believe for the price that the two products are cruelty free, alcohol free, suitable for vegans, and nut free. They are also free from parabens, sulphates and mineral oil.

The packaging is sleek and aesthetically pleasing on the eye. You simply squeeze the tube and the primer is distributed. Only a little comes out as the product is quite firm, it is white and there is no scent. It feels the same as any other silicone primer I have tried, super soft and smooth.

I apply to the whole of my face, and it creates a smooth finish.
I apply my make-up as normal, and let me tell you now - my skin looks flawless.

Immediately I can see a difference in regards to my fine lines and pores, they are visibly blurred.
It also evens my skin-tone with ease.

I can't get over what this primer brings to the table, I highly recommend, and for a bargain £3.90 it puts some of my higher priced silicone primers - (yes I am looking at you Smashbox Photo Finish priced at an eye-watering £26) to shame.

*The Ordinary High Spreadability Fluid Primer.

I was a little more intrigued by this primer, as it seems to be targeted more so to dry skin folk.
Priced at £5.50 this is another budget-friendly primer. House in a frosted glass, you dispense the product using a pipette. I was in 2 minds wether this primer contained silicone, down to the texture.

It does contain silicone, but it doesn't feel anything like the High Adhesive Silicone Primer.
The consistency of the product is water like, and it feels cooling and hydrating on application.

( Please excuse the hazy sunshine in this picture)

A little is needed and it spreads well across the face. It feels a little like a serum and it dries really quickly, and feels comfortable.
Again it creates a smooth finish and helps skin to appear flawless and lustrous, it also adheres make-up to the skin for longer. I think this one is my favourite, just down to it feeling so hydrating and comfortable on the skin.
I also noticed with this one in particular, that my skin appeared more luminous.

(If you look at the first swatch picture, you will see what I am talking about. I rubbed it in, and you can see the beautiful sheen it left on my skin).

I would say don't hesitate in anyway to pick either of these products up, they blur, smooth and adhere make-up to the skin for longer.  They sure lives up to their claims, and are so worth the small price-tag.

You can buy these products from their Website, Cult Beauty & Asos.

Have you tried anything from The Abnormal Beauty Company?
Please let me know your recommendations.
