Beauty: Old Make-Up

It is safe to say I have a largish make-up collection.  I have one face, and I 100% got enough make-up to maybe cover 10, with this realisation - I put myself on a type of ban.

A: I have no storage left for any-more.

B: I have pretty much everything I need, and I am only buying because I like it, and put it this way I like a lot of things, and with Christmas around the corner, well it is time to knuckle down.

I have shopped my stash, and picked out some pretty old products, that I forgot about, found again, and loving.

Beauty: The Eye - Shadow Palette Edit.

So am gonna put it out there, eyeshadow is probably my least favourite make-up product. I don't really buy any palettes, I don't feel I am that good at it. I do have a collection of palettes, as I am constantly trying to improve my application skills.

So I have whittled them down, and will be talking about the four I do use, love and would recommend. This edit is probably for the guys and gals who are just dipping their toes in the whole eye-shadow world, so if Lisa Eldridge & Charlotte Tilbury could look away now, well that would be great.

Beauty: The 5 Minute Face!

So with the dark mornings STILL here, the longer in bed the better huh?

So " The 5 Minute Face " is necessary and much needed. These are the typical products I have been grabbing for when I need a quick dash out the door, but don't want to go scaring any humans in the process.

I thought I would chat about my most favourite lipstick at the mo.

I have wore this most days since Christmas, and love everything about it. 

The packaging is exactly the same as the previous K.I.S.S.I.N.G  lipsticks. 

Beauty - Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation

After having my little boy, well he's 3 now -  so not that little. I don't buy myself as much make-up as I used too. I can be a little mean with myself, I suppose that comes with having a child. 

I don't skimp on my skincare, ohhh noo as my skin can be a little menace and I can't mess around with that, but make-up wise, I kind of invest in a good high-end base and brow product, (nothing worse than your brow ending up on your lip by 2pm), and the rest I wing.

One high-end brand I absolutely love and feel is just on point, is Charlotte Tilbury. I have a fair amount from her collection, (considering I have just been moaning that I never really treat myself I have got a cheek), and when I heard that she was releasing a new foundation. Well I was super excited.

As part of my clearing everything out quest and developing a habit of selling everything I own on eBay. (Literally everything, my baby boy grows out of something and I have it off him, papped and listed on eBay in one minute flat) So a little note if you have anything you want to sell, well please do hide it before I get to it first! 

 

Charlotte Tilbury Make-Up Launch at Selfridges.

Last Monday I was in London and visited Selfridges as Charlotte Tilbury was launching her new make-up line. Yes I nearly peed my pants!  (Was going to save this till later on in the post but guess what??? I only met her!!).

 I have been following some might even say stalking Charlotte on Twitter and YouTube for like forever and I have got to say that women knows make-up. She makes the application look so easy and effortless and the looks she creates are just simply stunning.

Charlotte`s colour products are curated into 10 looks.

The 10 looks range from:

Five natural looks and five nocturnal looks to take you from desk, to dusk, to disco (Charlotte's words).

As I walked into Selfridges I ran straight to the counter and was pushing past all the other eager women and the odd man wanting to swatch,swatch,swatch. The atmosphere was amazing bordering on sheer bedlam with Charlotte in the midst of it.
