Beauty || Clarins Teint Haute Tenue Everlasting Foundation

So if you read this blog regularly you will know I am a BIG Clarins lover- but more so their skincare. I hadn't really tried anything from their make-up range, the odd lip glosses and mascaras that were part of any free gifts I received. I had never went and bought anything from their make-up range as I always got so carried away with their skincare. I didn't even dare venture into the make-up part ,scared my debit card may explode at any given time.

I have developed a bit of a foundation obsession and browsing online picking up my regular Clarins essentials I stumbled across this foundation. The claims were big.

Clarins state: "This foundation offers 15 hours of impeccable coverage and total comfort. Formulated with a "high-fidelity system," a light, invisible veil sets your foundation, leaving it looking perfectly even, and gives a long-lasting wear. Clarins exclusive Light-Optimising Complex instantly captures, diffuses and magnifies light. Fine lines and small imperfections are visibly minimised and the complexion appears even and radiant"

I opted for the second lightest shade Nude 105 and it`s the perfect shade for me. Boom. I feel a boom is necessary as foundation shopping online 9 times out of 10 doesn't work out very well. The first time I used it I thought it was way to light for me, looking at it pumped out on my hand and a ghost sprung to mind. (BOO)

Apprehensively applying it anyway I found I adored the coverage and the overall finish and it was actually a perfect match. No orangy undertones in sight! (Punch emoji) It probably has the most natural finish ever which just blows my mind, as the coverage is a medium to full coverage but doesn't appear that way at all, and feels so lightweight on the skin and not cakey in anyway.  It banishes any redness, blemishes, imperfections with ease!

I can`t stress how amazing the coverage is say "bye bye" to bad skin days, this will cover everything and anything that needs to be hidden, resulting in a good skin day! What more could you want?

Oh and yes Clarins I so agree, you do appear all "radiant" like when wearing this beauty.

The scent is what I would expect from Clarins a light flowery non offensive scent, I haven't wore this for 15 hours so cant comment if it lasts that long, but after 9 hours or so it still looks pretty marvellous.

Right so I never do "selfies" but feel sometimes to show you how good a product is, I have to bite the bullet and show you, as I am not doing it any justice otherwise. The picture has no filter. It was taken inside but with lots of natural light beaming in. I currently have some blemishes around my chin and cheek area. As you can see it has done an excellent job of covering them without looking heavy, unnatural or cakey in any way at all.

The packaging is so high end, a glass bottle with a gold top and a pump to dispense the product. I love a pump! So hygienic and you only use what you need. I use around a pump on the top of my hand and buff lightly with a Real Techniques Buffing Brush onto my face starting from the nose, chin and cheek area were I need more coverage then buff it outwards. I feel this would be particularly perfect for oily and combination skin. I do get the odd dry patches and found that it sat a little in them, so if your skin is very dry then I wouldn't recommend. There is 8 shades to choose from so you should have no problem finding a colour match.

As it`s a glass bottle (be careful not to drop) and as you can`t carve it open with the bread knife (No I have never done that, honest), turn it upside down as you are coming to end of the product you will be sure to get a good couple of days longer out of it by doing this.

Have you tried this? What`s your favourite foundation at the mo?
