Beauty: Mini Skincare Loves

So, mini products, they just the cutest huh? Beauty monthly subscription boxes, free gifts with purchases, and all that jazz doing the rounds around the beauty world - I end up just throwing them in a big box, and never really give them any attention.

So I have picked out the best of the best of the minis in my stash, and have finally give them the attention they most definitely deserve. 

Beauty: Zoella Le Fizz & Bath Latte Review

I was after a new range of bath goodies, and when the new Zoella range popped up on my timeline on Twitter like 50 million times,  I could not ignore the fact how bloomin delicious it all sounded. Anything that sounds and looks like food, well I am all over.  If you have been living under a rock, and don't know who Zoella is, she is the biggest beauty Youtuber in the UK, and has a legion of teenage fans, who I could imagine would have bought the whole collection as soon as it was released.

Food: Butternut Squash with a Bean Cassoulet, and a Creamy Pesto Dressing

The main attraction in this dish is the bean cassoulet. A really posh word for a stew type thing basically.

I have featured this bean cassoulet on the blog before recipe here if you fancy a nose.  This time around I added a small tin of chickpeas, to add a crunchy type texture to the dish.

I make a big batch most weeks, and freeze, I then add it to wraps, jacket spuds, rice etc. 

As I get older, yup am 30 now. I am enjoying more meat free dishes in my diet, and this is one of my favourites. Not particularly the right time of year for butternut squash, but ya know it's tasty, and thinking about it I eat it all year round, actually more so in the summer, as it is lighter, and less stodgier than potatoes.

Beauty: Becca Aqua Luminous Perfecting Foundation Review

So it's getting warmer now, I want/need to ditch the heavy foundations, but don't wanna drop that heavy, border line, caked on coverage. Oh the dilemma?

Getting some bits on Cult Beauty, and taking full advantage of the free Summer gift bag that was on offer, I stumbled across the Becca Aqua Luminous Perfecting Foundation, the description sounded like everything I was looking for,  and more. "Aqua" screams hydration, "Luminous" screams super dreamy glowy skin, something I crave every damn day, given my skin is as dry as dust.
