Anything with thirst quenching on its label, well I am all over it hook, line and sinker.
These cold months skin can get so dehydrated and appear dull. This serum caught my eye as it is pretty cheap compared to what I usually spend, and had rave reviews on Space NK.
Caudalie is a brand I like, beauty box subscriptions always seem to pop samples in of their products, so I had a feel for the brand and decided to take a risk and try this serum.
It has no big claims in regards to anti- ageing or any other life changing properties, but I thought it would be nice to use every other night to combat the extra use of central heating, and the cold weather zapping the life out of my skin.
"This ultra light cream immediately hydrates and soothes sensitive and dehydrated skin. The cream restarts internal hydrating mechanisms and restores water reserves. Fortified and protected from free radicals, the skin is left luminous, velvety, and lastingly soothed. "
Housed in a glass jar with a pump, this disperses a small amount that feels very wet but appears milky. A little goes a very long way and I love how cooling and cold it feels on the skin. It has no distinct scent, and is overall a very inoffensive product.
It sinks into the skin quickly with no residue left behind. Skin is left super soft and I really like it. When my skin is dehydrated the first things is the frown lines on my fod, well they get pretty angry. A couple of days using this, (alongside a face oil) they are a lot more plumper, and skin is less dull. For the price-tag of £29 I feel this is a little bargain, and one I would repurchase. Not that I will have to any time soon, as the tiniest amount is needed.
So if you are looking for something to give your skin a little helping hand in these colder months in regards to staying a little more hydrated, then maybe this is it.
Not a game changer by any stretch of the imagination, but none the less a nice product that does exactly what it says. Hydrates the skin. Buy here
