We all have dreams, aspirations and goals we want to achieve in our lives.
Sometimes it can be a challenge, we can feel defeated, not good enough, and sometimes not worthy of deserving what we desire.
So here are five points that I always try and remember, when I am feeling - well a bit blah.
Keep Going:
We have to keep going, to not succeed the first time, at anything we try - well there is a reason, a lesson to be learnt. Once we get past the let-down, the hurt and upset, we can try and look at what we can take out of the experience, by asking what is the lesson here? This information when used positively will help us come back, try again - but more informed and stronger.
Give It Your All:
Want to do something? Write a book? New job? Start a family? Move house? Travel the world? Start a new hobby? Lets do everything in our power to make it happen.
Every morning when we wake up, let's tell ourselves that today, we are going to do something to make it happen, lets take one small step towards achieving our goals. We have to be consistent, determined and professional about anything we want to achieve in this life.
It won't be just handed to us. Let's work our socks off, because once we stop trying - well as JK Rowling once stated:
"We fail by default".
Believe:
Someone will always not get what you are doing? Judge you? Try and bring you down. You can't control what people think of you, but you can control how you react. Ignore, carry on, and believe in what you are doing. Don't let anyone tell you that you are not good enough, or try and judge you for what you believe. The quicker we block out the negativity in our lives, and surround ourselves with the people who believe and support us - we will get that one step closer to achieving what we desire.
Gratitude:
To be grateful for all that we have, and what we have achieved so far will help us feel happier, more positive and lift our overall mood. Think you're rubbish at what you are doing? Write down all the things you are proud of, and I am pretty sure there is someone out there who looks up to you, admires you, and thinks that you're marvellous at what you do.
Organisation:
Organising our time, and getting ourselves in a routine to work each day towards what we want is key. When we are rushing around, which is so easy to do - we struggle to cram everything in. This results in our dreams and goals that we want to achieve, getting a little lost and pushed on the back burner.
Believe, believe and yes, to believe in yourself. Self doubt and low self esteem is one of the top three reasons why many dreams remained as a dream. These are great tips and I'll be sharing this post in hopes it will inspire anyone who needs it. xx
