Food: The Health File - Including Free PDF Sample Download

Ahhhh food, one of life's most precious gifts. I love it so much, (no big revelation there) but I am also constantly "trying" to improve my diet and health, and exploring new ways to enjoy tasty food. I feel so down when I am eating rubbish. Over the years I have become so conscious about my diet, and strive to feed my body, on the whole - with as much goodness as poss.

To be able to cook basic healthy meals for ourselves and families, I feel, is just as important as getting up and going to work.  But I do get it isn't that easy for some people. Some people feel they don't have the time, money or worst of all -  the skills to cook.

I was self-taught, and made some horrific meals along the way.
So basically if I can do it, anyone can.

If you want to lose weight, eat better, learn to cook, or just love food but looking to improve your diet,  well this is a great place to start.

The Health File

I have made a two week PDF downloadable sample document called "The Health File" It is jam packed with tips, recipes, and a two week food diary that you can fill in.

The Health File I feel, is especially beneficial to anyone in two minds about wanting to lose weight, or change eating habits, and may feel a little apprehensive about taking the first step.
Or maybe someone who is just looking for a kick start and a little motivation.

This 2 week booklet is helpful in regards to reflecting and seeing what you have eaten. Writing down what you eat, helps us to become more conscious and aware of food choices, and the amount of food we may, or may not be eating.

Diets can be great to start, but most people seem to get bored of the same foods, and hate missing out on their favourite meals. I think for me personally the key, to maintaining a healthy eating lifestyle - is constantly trying new foods.

The Health File has lots of recipes throughout that you can try, or use for inspiration to create your own meals.

So are you ready to dive in?

Just click the link, here and print. The format will be two pages on each A4 page, so just cut in half and staple together, and pop in a plastic wallet. If you don't have a printer and fancy one, please just comment below, I will happily post you one out.

Let me know if this is helpful, or any ideas you feel may need adding?

This is a taster prototype for one that I may get printed and bound up, so please do let me know what you think, your feedback is truly appreciated.

Thanks for popping by :o)

  2. This is such a good idea! I've had to adapt my favourite recipes to cut out allergens & FODMAPs. It's been hard, but I'd have found it much harder if I hadn't experimented with alternatives to keep making my favourite foods. I think there are a lot of people who are worried about experimenting or just aren't sure where to start & this is a great resource for them. Xx
