Beauty: Old Make-Up
It is safe to say I have a largish make-up collection. I have one face, and I 100% got enough make-up to maybe cover 10, with this realisation - I put myself on a type of ban.
A: I have no storage left for any-more.
B: I have pretty much everything I need, and I am only buying because I like it, and put it this way I like a lot of things, and with Christmas around the corner, well it is time to knuckle down.
I have shopped my stash, and picked out some pretty old products, that I forgot about, found again, and loving.

Beauty: Dressing Table Details
Every blue moon my dressing table looks like the below, (fist pump) opposed to an utter explosion of cotton pads, nail varnish stains, and make-up scattered all over it.
So I thought I would chat about the non make-up details that live on my make-up dresser, whilst we can actually see them.

Beauty: The Eye Makeup Must Haves
Eye make-up for me is probably one of the hardest parts of this whole make-up lark. I am getting much better - as practise does make perfect. I thought I would share some key tools, that really help me to create a professional eye make-up look at home.

Beauty: Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge Review
Stop the press, want perfect foundation application every-time? Don't we all huh?
I have found after many years, the best way to apply foundation is with a sponge, and am a tell you why right here.
I have found after many years, the best way to apply foundation is with a sponge, and am a tell you why right here.
I have been using a Beauty Blender for around 18 months now, and then switched to the Real Techniques Miracle Sponge.
Around two thirds cheaper than its counterpart, I was hoping it was just as good.

Beauty - Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation
After having my little boy, well he's 3 now - so not that little. I don't buy myself as much make-up as I used too. I can be a little mean with myself, I suppose that comes with having a child.
I don't skimp on my skincare, ohhh noo as my skin can be a little menace and I can't mess around with that, but make-up wise, I kind of invest in a good high-end base and brow product, (nothing worse than your brow ending up on your lip by 2pm), and the rest I wing.
One high-end brand I absolutely love and feel is just on point, is Charlotte Tilbury. I have a fair amount from her collection, (considering I have just been moaning that I never really treat myself I have got a cheek), and when I heard that she was releasing a new foundation. Well I was super excited.

MAKEUP REVOLUTION: Goddess of Faith - Triple Baked Highlighter
So to start - am gonna put it out there, this brand I totally underestimated. Not to sound like a make-up snob at all, but this brand offers such cheap make-up, I thought it wouldn't be great, as in life, most of the time - you get what you pay for.
Now I did a lot of research first, prior to placing an order, I had read so many reviews about the baked highlighters and blushers, and I never read a bad one.

Miss Makeup Magpie Guest Post! Revlon ColourBurst- Peony
Hello how are you all, long time no post hey?
Well with lots of Uni work and my phone and camera breaking. I have been really struggling to get any blog posts up. Plus in mourning, how was we ever without mobile phones? I will never know.
Well with lots of Uni work and my phone and camera breaking. I have been really struggling to get any blog posts up. Plus in mourning, how was we ever without mobile phones? I will never know.
I've mentioned before on my blog that the Revlon ColorBurst Lip Glosses are my favourite type of glosses. I last reviewed the 'Papaya' shade, which is gorgeously bright coral which doesn't leave my lips during the Summer months. Papaya is Tanya Burr's favourite lipgloss, and sure enough I fell in love with it too, although it's a little bit too bright for everyday wear, so enter Peony.
I love the ColorBurst glosses from Revlon as they're not at all sticky, and they're reasonably long lasting.
I also find that they're really quite pigmented for a gloss too, although Peony is a little bit more sheer than Papaya and that's why Peony is my absolute favourite gloss. On the lips Peony translates as a pinky peach shade with sparkly micro glitter, without being gritty.
The tiny glitter makes this gloss incredibly pretty, and as it's pink based, can be layered over any pink lipstick. Whenever I wear this gloss, albeit alone or layered over a lipstick. I'm always asked what I'm wearing, and complimented on how pretty it is.. which is always a good measure of how good a product looks.
This is honestly the most perfect lip gloss, as it's so comfortable to wear and versatile. I would definitely repurchase this shade and I'd love to buy some other shades from the range, especially the shades Bellini and Sunset Peach.
What's your favourite lip gloss?
